We are currently looking for a POP Development Specialist.

POP Development Specialist Job description

The Howard Company, Inc. is seeking a strongly organized and motivated individual with project management or sales experience who is ready to transition into a sales career. This person will initially manage multiple point-of-purchase display projects from start to finish and eventually focus on sales full-time.

Primary duties:

  • Communicate directly with Sales and customers to define the scope of new opportunities.
  • Facilitate the development process to establish and meet customer timelines.
  • Coordinate POP projects and keep them on track to hit sales goals.
  • Serve as principal point of communication between clients, engineering, purchasing and production departments.
  • Interact with staff to learn production processes for display quoting, assembly, and production responsibilities.
  • Look for new account opportunities and find new sources for contacts. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years business experience in comparable business position.
  • POP experience advantageous but not necessary.
  • Project management, sales or organizational job history is advantageous and necessary for this position and future career growth.
  • Prior positions which demonstrate successful negotiation skills are valuable.
  • Solid computer skills specifically with MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Intermittent travel leading to more extensive travel as sales potential is realized.
