What are the differences between a manufacturer warranty and an extended/advanced warranty?
MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
All displays comes with a standard 3 year manufacturer warranty which covers the replacement of the defective display as outlined by the manufacturer. The manufacturer warranty doesn't include labor.
EXTENDED/ADVANCED WARRANY
known as the White Glove Quick Swap, offers added convenience by streamlining the process of reporting issues to the manufacturer. The Howard Company collaborates closely with the manufacturer to ensure smooth execution of the "White-Glove Quick Swap (advanced exchange)" service.
The manufacturer will coordinate a technician-assisted exchange, which includes an on-site visit by a technician to remove the original display unit (up to 8 feet tall), install the replacement unit, and ship the non-working unit back to the manufacturer. It's important to note that the warranty does not cover any physical damage to the monitor or issues with other components such as media players, cables, or network racks.
